Drunkeness of Noah
[Whole folio] Upper drawing; Noah stands in a vat pressing grapes, while his three sons carry grapes in wicker hods. Below, Noah lies drunken with empty cup, beside two large casks. A mocking son points, a second covers his father's nakedness, and the third hides his face. Behind is a second scene in which Noah stands admonishing the mocker. Image taken from Holkham Bible Picture Book. Originally published/produced in England, circa 1320-1330.
